The Infamous Gay Circuit Party of New York City is Back – Punk Rites XLI: The Black Party – March 23, 2024

Can you believe that one of the most notorious and sleazy party has been on hiatus for over 4 years IS BACK. The Saint at Large’s The Black Party will be descending on the New York City gay nightlife scene on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 10pm until SUNDAY AFTERNOON the very next day. IT IS NOT A TYPO.

We’re talking about 16-hours of pure unadulterated fun for gay men and their allies to escape into a world of digital freedom and unabashed fun in celebration of the Spring Equinox. Men from all around the world will come together to New York City (NYC) to meet, mingle and move to the grooves of the sound of underground beats from DJs from around the world in a darkness of decadence and dance. Audio pleasure to heighten yours senses and imagination of circuit parties from the late 1900s. With this year’s set of DJs, who will incorporate their playlist, to this year’s theme Punk Rites inspiration

What’s a Black Party event without some visual entertainment. There will be Live Strange Acts for your visual hedonistic & voyeuristic pleasures with some of the world’s sexiest men featured on your favorite social media sites. These popular stars and models will thrill and delight you with acts and movement that’s only available for the Black Party attendees. Be sure not to miss out.

However, if you come to the Black Party to make new friends and devilish memories, there are few things that you should know BEFORE you purchase a ticket(s).

HERE ARE A FEW PERSONAL OPINIONS THAT I HAVE CAME UP BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE ATTENDING PREVIOUS BLACK PARTY EVENTS THAT MAY HELP:

DRESSCODE: HEAVY! Come as you are; however, use this year’s party theme to explore different looks and styles that accentuates or express who truly are. Otherwise, you can don your favorite fetish, leather, gear or casual attire that makes you feel comfortable and sexy.

PHONE POLICY: STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. All cellphones and/or digital recording devices must be checked before entering the event space along with any personal belongings you wish to check it. Come express a party that gives you DIGITAL FREEDOM like never before. A night that allows you to be your one true self without the fear of being recorded. If you are caught have a cellphone in the event space, they will be consequences. Just respect everyone’s privacy and check your phones.

CONSENT IS ALWAYS SEXY. Be kind and courteous to one another. Look out for anyone who may look like they may be in need of assistance.

KNOW YOUR BODY AND YOUR LIMIT. Don’t put your life and personal safety into someone else’s hands. Be responsible of yourself and allow friends and other patrons to enjoy the experience in a safe space with you. It’s a huge responsibility to put on someone who may or may not be equipped to care for you should exceed your body’s limits. Stay hydrate. Rest and take breaks. If you still do not feel better, tell staff member, gather your belongings and go home. Put yourself in a safe space in the comforts of your home and protect yourself from any unforeseeable situations.
