The place has went through numerous name changes; however, the location and setup hasn’t changed. Located in Long Island City/Astoria, Queens just right outside of Manhattan, it’s the perfect getaway without having to travel hours to get off.
NAME: Rainbow House Playground as known as Omega/Northern Studio etc
LOCATION: 35-12 Northern Boulevard, there’s a glass door with a handmade sign that says 35-06/35-12. Go through the door and up the stairs. You can take the R/M train and get off at 36th St stop or E/F line when they run local, that will put you immediately by the door located on the same side of the street on your left. Or the N/Q train at 39th Street stop and just walk up Northern Boulevard towards 35th Street. For guys with cars, you can park on the streets for free just north of Northern Boulevard.
ADMISSION: Prices may vary. Roughly $22 which includes clothes check.
HOURS OF OPERATION: Varies between days, Open Thursdays-Mondays, Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
SETUP: After you climb up the stairs, there’s a long hallway with signs that points to Rainbow House Playground, which will be on your right. You walk through the door, there’s a reception area with a desk on your left, you pay and enter through the door. The changing area is well lit with refreshments and seats to sit on while you change. The clothes check clerk takes your belongings and bags them up and gives you a number to remember. You walk through the doorway on your left.
As you walk through the doorway, on your left are lube and condoms as well as some more refreshments and on your right is a series of private rooms of different sizes in a spacious hallway. As you move along on the left is a wall and you travel around the corner there’s a huge area surround by curtains which is the main lounge area with a big screen projector/tv screen that plays movies or porn with small leather couches and chairs so you can take a break from all of the action. Not to mention there’s a quiet large private room located towards the back just before you pass through the curtains to waiting area for the bathrooms and sink.
The main area will be on your left with windows looking out on your right. You can go straight ahead to more private booths and play area or to your left with private booths, which further leads you to two bathrooms and small washroom curtain-covered sink area to wash your hands and body parts so you can get back to the action more quickly.
Around the corner is a small hallway that leads into the darkroom open play area. On your right behind a L-shaped line of curtains is a large bed where guys are more inclined to bareback or go raw. You can enter this area on either side of the room as it is in back of the space. If you pass this area, you will find more private rooms some with lights and others without. Guys tend to play in this open dark area as well as the private booths. Like I said before, the booths are vary in sizes, you should investigate and check out each one to find the one to your liking. As you travel around, you will find yourself back to the location you started. After several times of walking around you will become more familiar with the place and you will know how to navigate with ease.
CLIENTELE: The guys tend be mostly Hispanic/Latino but the crowd is mixed and vary in age and sizes. I’ve seen guys of varies sizes and shapes so there’s something for everyone. The cool thing about this space is that you can be very exclusive and selective or you can have an orgy of men. I think the more guys know about this place, the more varieties and options you will have. Sexually, there were more bottoms than tops. So I encourages more tops to CUM to this place. Overall, I had a great time when I went there. It was pretty clean and organize. I didn’t have any problems with anyone. I highly recommend this place and will start posting it in upcoming events. While I've been here many times, its not my favorite place. I often find little Latin boys walking around giggling and talking loudly to each other which destroys the mood. There are also some regulars with "quirks". When they had more curtains in the back area, one guy constantly would walk around and tie up the curtains, letting light in. What is the point of a dark room? All in all, I'd give it a 3 out of 5 at best.

There isn't any changing rooms. You strip right in front in the waiting area. You can either wear underwear or nothing at all. They don't allow street clothes or cell phones beyond reception area in order to keep the privacy of their customers. Bijou you can remain in your street clothes; however, no private or public sex party is going to allow you to keep all of your clothes on.
