Type of event: Monthly Leather Circuit Party that host parties in New York City, San Francisco and Los Angeles

Location: Santos Party House (96 Lafayette in TriBeCa/Chinatown area) between Walker and White Street right by the NQR and 6 trains

Time: The last Saturday of every month from 11pm-until. The party didn’t end at 4am some say it ends at 6am.

Admission: $20 advance ticket price; $25 after midnight at the door; special rates for holiday events Purchase advanced tickets here

Clientele: Mostly white guys in their 20s, 30s, and 40s from slim to very fit muscle men with a small diversity of men in the mix.

Setup: Santos Party House is a bi-level club venue with an elevated sound stage for performance as well as a small VIP lounge area. The ticket booth is directly in front of you as soon as you step in. As you pass to the right, there are two passageways with one leading to the main floor and the other a staircase leading down to the second level.

When you arrive into the lower level, on your left opens up to another dance floor and another passageway that leads to the coat check and what would be considered the ladies bathroom on any night but is open to everyone. The coat check is further down the corridor pass the bathrooms on the left hand side. The lower level floor opens up with a bar and DJ booth to the right with a hidden seating area in the back corner. On the left of the lower level, is an slight raised floor for additional space to dance. Directly behind the raised dance floor is a small passageway leading to the men’s restroom, which is on your left hand side with the offices on the right. As you pass through the lower level, you will see a staircase leading back up to the main floor. The staircase leads you to the exit door and the other entryway to the main floor.

On the main floor, there are two bars on each side of the venue, with the stage front and center. An elevated dance floor on the left hand right next to the entrance with a winding couch surrounding it. Facing the main stage, there is a bar on your left with another large couch sectional tucked in the corner with a small staircase leading up to the main stage and VIP area. On the other side of the stage is another staircase sandwiched between the stage and the other bar. It was behind the DJ booth and in the VIP area where all the action occurred.

Scene: The vibe is high energy with EDM beats playing all night. Most guys were dancing all night while others, like yours truly, were playing all night. The guys were eagered and hungry for some dirty gay fun. The kind of the fun you would expect at The Black Party or Hustlaball, which was cancelled due to the Rentboy Raid in August.

Overall: I highly recommend attending this party and it’s definitely will be on my calendar every month as THEE must place to be until Black Party rolls around again in mid-March.
