Fact or Fiction: Gay Sex Parties

There are so many preconceived notions about gay sex parties and I want to better prepare newcummers to the group sex scene. What you can expect versus what you will actually see and experience. This is especially holds true to people from other countries and out-of-towners.

The information below is based on my empirical research. These are NOT scientific facts just merely observations that I’ve witnessed first hand.

Fiction – Tons of hot guys standing around all willing to have sex with you
Fact – Many hot guys are standing around waiting for you to make a move or to stand there and just watch

Fiction – Most of the guys are in their 20s and 30s and no one is over the age of 45
Fact – Most of the guys are in their 30s and 40s follow by 20s and 50s

Fiction – Most guys just want to have sex they don’t really care what you look like
Fact – Most guys don’t just have sex for sex sake and can be quite particular about race, weight, height and age. Prejudice and Ageism still exist even in the sex party culture so make sure you have a tough exterior to handle rejection.

Fiction – Most guys don’t socialize at these events
Fact – Many guys make friends and partners at these events

Fiction – All sex parties are diseased-infected places with many germs
Fact – Most sex parties are very cleaned and are maintained very well even while the event is going on.

Fiction – All men use condoms and practice safe sex and/or all men have bareback sex
Fact – It’s even split and may lean more towards safe sex at one and more towards bareback sex to another. Just make sure you use due diligence before you attend a parties that doesn’t practice your beliefs on sex

Fiction – All sex parties are all the same
Fact – Not all sex parties are the same which is what makes them interesting because you will either run into the same people or new people and eventually you will have a network of men that you enjoy having good sex with.

Fiction – I’ve been to sex parties in my city so it must be the same in NYC
Fact – No city is as diverse as NYC when it comes to sex parties with men of many ethnicity. Most sex parties in other cities are mostly or all white events with the exception being Atlanta. Many men cum to this city for that reason. So choose carefully if diversity isn’t your thing otherwise you will leave very disappointed. I’ve seen many men stand around and experience culture shock due to the fact there isn’t much diversity in their city or country and just assume that all sex parties just the same in the States that may be true in other cities but then again no one cums to New York to see the same old things.

Fiction  – Every bottom comes prepared and already cleaned out for the party
Fact – It varies from party to party, some night there isn’t a dirty hole in sight while other nights it seems like no one cleaned their hole before they came.

Fiction – The sex parties are filled with guys that are either tops or bottoms and everyone knows who’s who
Fact – Guys you wouldn’t even expect to bottom bottoms and top tops. Some guys do both that what makes the sex party experience awesome.

Fiction – All guys who go to sex parties are HIV+Fact – With introduction of PReP, many guys are HIV- and least the risk of spreading HIV. The ones who are HIV+ more than likely are on meds that resides the risk of their loads of becoming viral to spread the disease. Many guys, also, have safe sex only and there are many sex parties that are safe sex only.

I hope this gives you a better sense of the gay sex party scene in New York City. In the end, you should check it out and form your own opinion about going to a sex party.
